Michael Peters graduated from Hampton High School in 1969. He attended Grove City College and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 1973. Mike attended the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Engineering and did post graduate study in the field of Energy Resource Management.
His career spanned over thirty years in the Steel / Metals industry. During that time, Mike proved himself to be an innovative forward thinker and problem solver in both large and small corporate environments. His experience included complete P&L responsibility, project management, strategic business planning and resource staffing for engineering and manufacturing companies. He received a certification as a Project Management Professional and went on to teach classes in Organizational Management and Conflict Resolution as part of the PMP certification exam.
Mike served as a board member of Hampton’s Environmental Advisory Council for three years.
During his 50 plus years of calling Hampton Township home, Mike has seen its evolution from a small semi-rural community to the growing, vibrant community it is today.
