Department of Environmental Services

The Department of Environmental Services is responsible for the waste water services throughout the majority of the Township of Hampton.  The eleven-employee Department is responsible for approximately 120 miles of sanitary sewer pipelines, four pump stations, and the 3.2 million-gallon per-day waste water treatment plant, located near Duncan Avenue.

Some Township residences have private on-lot septic systems or may be serviced by another authority/community, such as McCandless Township Sanitary Authority, Deer Creek Basin Authority, or Shaler Township) based on their location in the Township.
