If you are unsure of what skill level you should register your child for, please review the Swim Lesson Skill level guidelines. If you have any further questions regarding skill levels or what class your child should register for please contact the program manager, Bill Ryder at 412-487-7870 ext. 1316.
Additional Information for 2023 Swim Lessons:
Please understand that participants will only be able to register for one swim class per summer for this year. While we hope to add more lessons (dependent upon staffing) at a later time, it is not a guarantee. Therefore, we will only be permitting one lesson per child this summer. We hope this new guideline will allow more opportunities for all individuals looking to register for swim lessons.
Private Swim Lessons
Great news! Private Swim Lessons will be offered for the Summer of 2023! Private lessons are scheduled based off of the participant and instructors schedules throughout the summer.

This class is designed for youth (ages 10 - 18 yrs. old) who have completed 3rd grade and successfully passed Department of Community Services Basic Strokes swim lessons. Participants will learn warm up exercises, front & back jumps, front approaches as well as front and back dives in the straight and tuck positions. Youth Diving Instruction will take place July 24th - 28th from 11:00 - 12:00 pm.
