On December 29, 2016 at 2:47 p.m., Hampton Township officers responded to Route 8, near Arby's Restaurant, for a two vehicle accident. The accident occurred when the operator of one vehicle was attempting to turn into a business parking lot from Route 8, and struck an oncoming vehicle. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene and no injuries were reported at the time of the crash.
