[ARCHIVED] Hampton Council March Meeting Actions

- Approved a five-year agreement between the Teamsters Local Union 205 (Community and Environmental Services Departments) and the Township of Hampton

- Authorized the purchase of five (5) Community Center rooftop HVAC units as part of the Capital Improvement Program Budget

- Authorized the repair of the Police Building Sto-Finish as part of the Capital Improvement Program Budget

- Authorized the advertisement of an ordinance amending Police Hiring Ordinance No. 783 (changing the Part-time Police Eligibility List from 10 eligible candidates to 20 eligible candidates)

- Decertified the current Part-time Police Officer Eligibility List

- Authorized the advertisement and acceptance of applications for the position of Part-time Police Officer

- Awarded contracts regarding the 2017 Road Paving Program (roads to be paved; Chessman Street, Hickory Street, Cherry Street, Spruce Lane, Christopher Drive, Wickloe Drive, Grandeur Drive, North Villa Drive, North Villa Court, LeGran Drive, Rosanna Drive from Harts Run Road to PPG Industries.  Sealcoating program includes Montour Road and Wyland Avenue)

- Awarded contracts to E-Z Excavating and Robinson Pipe Cleaning for the annual Construction Equipment & Sanitary Line Cleaning Equipment Rentals

- Approved summer operating hours for the Community Center 

- Tabled the amendment to the Zoning Ordinance for further review and discussion

- Enacted Ordinance No. 794 accepting the public improvements in the Cross Creek development

- Denied the request for takeover of the open spaces in the Glades of North Hampton developments

- Referred the Rosanna Preliminary/Final Subdivision/Lot Consolidation and the Torath Chaim Revised Site Plan
