[ARCHIVED] Hampton Litter / Clean Up Day a Success!!

Along with the assistance of the Township's Fire Police, Community Services Department and Police Department, we were able to clean up 183 bags of garbage, 22 tires, as well as a bunch of large miscellaneous items from 16 local, county and state roadways.

Obviously you can see that there are still a number of roadways littered with garbage.  We hope to get to those roads next year and are possibly thinking of adding a fall program....if we can get enough volunteers.

Please, Please, Please spread the word not to litter; not only does it make an area look ugly, it is expensive and sometimes difficult to clean; and most importantly it is harmful to people, plants and animals, as well as the waterways.

Thank you to those who helped make the Township's roads litter free!!!
