A Banner Community distinguishes itself as a model community through a commitment to sustainable practices including professional development, intergovernmental cooperation, sound fiscal management and proactive communications to engage community residents and stakeholders. For the sixth consecutive year, the Township of Hampton has been recognized by the Allegheny League of Municipalities (ALOM) and Allegheny County as a Banner Community.
On March 23, 2018, representatives of the Township will receive this recognition award from Allegheny County Chief Executive Richard Fitzgerald and ALOM Executive Director Jason Davidson. This recognition ceremony will be held in the Allegheny County Court House.
