On June 17, 2018 at 4:42 p.m., a Hampton Township officer observed a vehicle driving on Wickline Road in an erratic manner. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer asked the driver for a driver's license, at which time the operator handed over a debit card. The operator was asked again for driver information, and handed the officer a driver's license. The operator was observed to have bloodshot, watery eyes, was sweating profusely, and was slurring her words. The officer also detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. The operator was unable to complete field sobriety tests as had been explained and demonstrated and was placed under arrest for DUI.
