[ARCHIVED] ALICE Training for Residents a Success

The ALICE Program was presented to approximately 70 people by certified instructors.

The ALICE Program is a nationally recognized response to a violent intruder incident. Residents along with anyone employed within Hampton Township were eligible to attend the 4-hour training inside the Hampton Community Center. The training consisted of a 1-hour classroom presentation followed by multiple scenarios where participants were able to practice the skills taught in the classroom setting. The objective was to empower participants to make decisions and to take action if ever confronted with a violent intruder.

The program can be provided to any community group or organization within Hampton Township free of charge. If you have any questions about the training, please contact Chief Vulakovich at 412-486-0400, Ext.322
