On September 6, 2018 at 1:08 a.m., a Hampton Township officer observed a vehicle drift out of it's lane of travel on Route 8. The vehicle was also observed to have two equipment violations, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon speaking to the vehicle operator, the officer observed the individual to be very nervous. The officer requested documentation from the driver, at which time the operator opened the glove compartment, which was observed to contain a knife. The officer took possession of the knife and the operator was eventually asked to step from the vehicle. The operator was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
