Hampton Township Council held their Regular Meeting on Wednesday, November 20th; actions from the meeting included, but not limited to:
- Adopted Resolution No. 1019B supporting an independent legislative and congressional redistricting commission in Pennsylvania
- Tabled the proposed Stormwater Fee Ordinance and Credit Manual to a special meeting on Wednesday, December 4th
- The Manager presented the proposed 2020 Township Operating Budget
- Public Hearing for the proposed 2020 Township Operating Budget scheduled for Wednesday, December 4th
- Authorized the advertisement of the proposed 2020 Tax Millage Ordinance, 2020 Township Budget, 2020 Capital Improvement Budget, and 2020 Stormwater Operations & Capital Budget for possible enactment at the December 18th Regular Meeting
- Authorization to obtain RFP's for the 2020 Tax and Revenue Anticipation Note
- Approved Waste Management's proposal for a five day per week collection service
- Approved PennDOT's request for waiver of the Township's Noise Ordinance regulations regarding their 2020 Route 8 resurfacing program (Sunday and evening work; project planned for March through September, 2020)
- Turned down the proposed Knox Box Ordinance; Township to pursue a voluntary Knox Box Program through the Fire Marshall
- Approved the Professional Services Agreement with Hoffman Kennels
- Awarded contracts regarding the SHACOG Fall Commodities Program
- Presentation given by KLH Engineers regarding the Glannon Pump Station Project at the intersection of Mt. Royal Boulevard and Hampton Avenue, as well as an update regarding the Water Pollution Control Plant upgrades
- Windmont Farms Final Planned Residential Development - discussion tabled to December Council meeting schedule
- Referred the Rice Simple Subdivision at 3080 McCully Road, and the Klaas Zoning Text Amendment
- Discussed upcoming events, including the Holiday Seasons Greeting Celebration scheduled for December 5th beginning at 7:00 pm, and the Presents from Police Program with toy donations being accepted until December 16th
