On December 3, 2014 at 3:53 PM Hampton Twp Police were dispatched to East Hardies Rd and Rt 8 for a hit and run accident with no injuries. The driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene before providing any of his information. The driver was able to be identified and the investigation is continuing.
