On 10/14/2023, Hampton units were dispatched to the area of Big Rock Road and Hemlock Drive for a single vehicle roll-over accident. Upon arrival, fire and EMS units were on scene and both occupants were out of the vehicle.
The operator of the vehicle stated that she had two drinks earlier that evening and there was an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her person.
It was determined that the driver struck a large rock/boulder on the right side of the road and continued to drive over a stop sign. The vehicle rolled over in the process.
Criminal charges pending.
